A mudra “seal”, “mark”, or “gesture” is a parabolic or ritual indication in India. A mudra is a spiritual gesture and enthusiastic insignia of verity recruit in the symbolic representation and spiritual practice of Indian religions. some mudras require the whole body, most are executed with the hands and fingers.

Certain yoga mudras are supposed to activate specific energy flows and trigger distinct emotions, religious and devotional reactions in the body.

By pressing simultaneously, curling, touching or pointing different fingers or parts of the hands in different ways, you can stimulate reflexes from the hand to the brain.

SURYA MUDRA

This Mudra is executed by touching the tip of the ring finger to the base of the thumb and applying pressure on the finger with the thumb.

Benefits: It balances the body, reduces body weight and obesity. It helps in digestion. It reduces hypertension and cholesterol and builds strength.

PRITHVI MUDRA

In this Mudra, the tips of the thumb and the ring finger are touched together. The other fingers are kept straight.

Benefits: It improves the functioning of the digestive system and reduces the deficiency of vitamins. It also gives energy and lustre to the body.

VAYU MUDRA

In this Mudra, the tip of the index finger is touched to the base of the thumb and the thumb comes over the finger with a slight pressure of the thumb being exerted. Rest of the fingers remain straight.

Benefits: By the practice of this mudra almost all air related infections like Arthritis, Gout, Sciatica, Knee pain, and Gas are relieved. It especially benefits in neck pain and spinal pain.

SHUNYA MUDRA

The head of the middle finger is position at the bottom of the thumb and the thumb moves closer with minute pressure being exerted on the finger. The other 3 fingers are kept straight.

Benefits: Efficient execution of this Mudra support in reducing ear pain and watering of the ears.

GYAN MUDRA

Join the tip of the thumb and the tip of the index finger together. The other three fingers must be straight.

Benefits: It helps in meditation and concentration and reduces negativity of the mind. It boosts the memory and it helps in relieving headache, insomnia and hypertension and control anger.

VARUN MUDRA

This Mudra is done by touching the tips of the thumb and the little finger.

Benefits: It reduces dryness of the skin and improves the skin quality.It is useful in skin diseases, acne and blood defects. Asthematic patients should do this mudra for short duration.

AKASH MUDRA

This mudra is very easy to do. Just join the tip of the middle finger to the tip of the thumb finger.

BENEFITS: The practice of Aakash mudra helps to reunite with the collective consciousness. Detoxify the body by the elimination of metabolic wastes.
